Paul Booth of Last Rites www.darkimages.com , I highly recommend going to his website, I will try to get this one looking as good. He has the style that I like to look at when I need inspiration, dark art in more ways than one.
Guy Aitchison www.hyperspacestudios.com . He has a much copied style that looks organic, and he is hailed as the most influential tattooist of our time. Also a painter.
Favourite Painters, Frank Frazetta www.frankfrazetta.org for his raw talent and extensive use of shadow.
Boris Vallejo www.hebus.free.fr for his use of projectors to get photo realism in fantasy scenes. I use a projector too now.
Salvador Dali for the trippyness of his surreal art, and his ability to command hundreds of thousands of dollars per painting without having to die first.
HR Giger www.hrgiger.com . Everybody loves Giger. He designed Ailen!
Leonardo DaVinci for the way he did under-paintings in burnt sienna and used black washes over the top.
